Hope & May named finalist at the British Data Awards 2026

We’re proud to share that Hope & May has been named a Finalist at the British Data Awards 2026.

The British Data Awards is an annual initiative that celebrates the organisations and individuals driving excellence, innovation, and impact through data across the UK. This year’s awards brought together an incredibly diverse and competitive field, including start-ups, not-for-profits, technology unicorns, government departments, and FTSE 100 organisations.

With a record 462 entries submitted for this sixth edition, being recognised as a finalist is a significant achievement – and one we’re incredibly proud of.

For us, this recognition reflects more than just the work we do. It speaks to our ongoing commitment to helping organisations handle data responsibly, confidently, and in a way that builds trust. Whether supporting charities, not-for-profits, or purpose-driven organisations, our focus has always been on making data protection practical, accessible, and embedded into everyday operations.

A word from our Founder

Mark Burnett, CEO and Founder of Hope & May, said:

“We’re absolutely delighted to be named a finalist at the British Data Awards 2026. It’s a real honour to be recognised alongside so many outstanding organisations doing important work with data.

This recognition is a testament to the hard work, expertise, and dedication of the entire Hope & May team. Every day, we strive to support our clients in building strong, ethical data practices and maintaining the highest standards of compliance. To see that commitment acknowledged in this way is incredibly rewarding.”

Looking ahead

Being shortlisted reinforces our belief that good data protection is not just about compliance – it’s about enabling organisations to grow with confidence, protect the people they serve, and operate with integrity.

We’re excited to be part of this year’s awards and look forward to celebrating alongside the other finalists.
